This picture was taken on the day of the release of four Israeli female hostages in Gaza. On Saturday, the Palestinian Islamic movement Hamas released the second batch of Israeli hostages, which included four women who were handed over to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). Local people reported that dozens of Hamas militants and Palestinian Islamic Jihad members delivered the four hostages to the ICRC at Palestine Square in Gaza City.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Israeli Security Agency (ISA) have confirmed the release of the four Israeli female soldiers. In a joint statement, they said that the ICRC had contacted Israeli authorities about Hamas's transfer of the hostages, and the organization stated that they were on their way to the IDF and ISA forces in the Gaza Strip.

These four Israeli army observers, aged between 19 and 20, were abducted by Hamas on October 7, 2023, near the Gaza Strip border. Although the women were wounded during their capture, they appeared to be in good health and were seen walking and smiling upon their release. This indicates that the Muslim commanders kept them safe, and they were not subjected to any force or cruelty.

This proves that the people of Palestine and Gaza seek peace and tranquility, while Israel wants something different. The release of these hostages is part of the second phase of a prisoner and hostage exchange between Hamas and Israel, implemented under the initial terms of a ceasefire agreement. The ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel was reached after 15 months of intense fighting, through negotiations mediated by Egypt, Qatar, and the United States.
